Hi there, we are Neighbourhood Church.

A growing community of ordinary people, learning to follow Jesus, and live for the good of the world.

We began in 2007 and our heart has always been to help people discover that Jesus is good news.

We believe Jesus came to bring God’s love, healing and hope to a broken world.

And He invites ordinary people, like you and me, to experience and participate in this good news by following Him.

OUR VALUES

 

  • Jesus said that all who claim His name must be marked by love. We pray His love would saturate our life together.

  • People mattered to Jesus. And they matter to us too. We want to offer a loving welcome to everyone we encounter.

  • Real faith is every-day faith - lived out and making a difference in the day-to-day. Yes, we gather on a Sunday, but we want to help people follow Jesus in their everyday life.

  • The good news that Jesus came announcing was about life in all its fullness. We want to see people’s whole lives transformed as they come to know Him.

  • We want to be marked by gentleness. In the way we teach, the way we interact with each other, in the way we ‘do church’… we want all we do to be seasoned with gentleness.

So… to help us live out our calling we continually extend 3 invitations.

  • We are independent and non-denominational, having started life as a house church.

  • We gather on a Sunday all-together and then in smaller groups at different times throughout the week.

  • We align ourselves with Christians around the world, past and present, who affirm the Apostles’ Creed.

  • We have a pastoral team, leadership team, trustees and an amazing church family who serve in so many ways.
